Thibaut Courtois, the goalkeeper for Real Madrid and a star of the Belgian national team, has announced his intention to become a mentor for Belgium’s U21 national team. This initiative aims to pass on experience and knowledge to young players striving to develop their football careers. Courtois believes that his involvement in this program will help young talents adapt more quickly to the demands of professional football.

Courtois will conduct training sessions, participate in seminars, and share his experiences with the young athletes. The goalkeeper is confident that he can create an atmosphere of trust and support, which will facilitate better learning. He has already begun actively collaborating with the coaching staff of the youth national team to develop a training plan.

At a press conference dedicated to this announcement, Courtois emphasized that the importance of mentorship cannot be overstated. He recalled his coaches who supported him during the early stages of his career and expressed a desire to give back by aiding the next generation of footballers. The goalkeeper believes that every athlete should have the opportunity to learn from the best.

Courtois also pointed out that young players face numerous challenges, and his role is to help them navigate those. He will share insights on coping with pressure on the field, as well as the importance of physical and mental preparation. The goalkeeper is convinced that with the right approach and support, they can achieve significant success.

It is planned that Courtois will participate in team training not only during camps but also during matches.
